Oh, and while I think about it, who is going to bring the biscuits from the front door to the shopfloor?
Oh and another thing. Why are all the comments to do with goods-in people? Was there some kind of hidden message in your last post?

Remember me? From Waterstone's CXR - am I alowed to use that word here? I noticed your name in the Observer book supplement yesterday and now find myself spending my lunchbreak reading your bookstore's blog. It's proven a welcome distraction from my work here in a 'dreich' Edinburgh! How wonderful to hear you are still in bookselling; though not of the "pile 'em high, sell 'em cheap" variety. I must say, your comment re. the pound coins took me right back...how strange. Anyway, all the best with the store.
